About The Doomed Machine
The artwork set is built from 18 art machines. With the core artwork referrenced from XCOPY's 'The Doomed' (cc0).
Machines are constructed with three animation levels:
Subtle, Medium, and Chaotic.
Each machine has a fixed palette and animated artwork that runs as 12 frames over the three levels. The canvass is then split into a set number of rows. This ranges between 4 - 11 rows.
Now the fun part.
Presets independent to the token
Each machine can be configured to display the animations/artwork on each row however the token owner choses. You can manually select the animation level: subtle, medium, or chaotic, the number of frames, and the speed of the animation. You can also control different independant glitch effect and decaying effect between the rows. When you mint, the token is allocated a machine type and allocated 5x random presets. Preset 0 is an immutable configuraiton. Owners can modify presets 1-4 and store them on-chain. You can then choose to display you machine however you like.
You only pay gas to save a customization or choose to active a different preset to your token.
Collection Structure
The current artwork edition schedule contains 138 slots. Each 'machine' is a numbered edition. The edition sizes vary from 1/1 (this a single unique Machine) up to a 1/15, which means there are 15 machines that share the same core artwork.
